Sitting back and reflecting on the last year and all I can say is WOW! We have experienced and still are experiencing things I am sure none of us thought we would. Life has totally changed in many ways due to this pandemic whether it is losing a loved one, battling COVID-19, losing a job, working remotely, learning remotely, saving money, spending quality time with loved ones, gaining access to new resources, starting new jobs, purchasing new homes, starting a business or a mixture of it all and so much more. As 2022 begins, we have no clue what is in store for us however what I do know is we are some resilient people so we got this.
As I enter 2022, I wanted to share with you 22 things that I plan on committing to in 2022. I hope this list helps you as it will me. Interpret it, edit it, and execute it how it applies and fits your life.
Be patient with yourself and others
Make your self-care is a top priority
Be firm with your boundaries and let them be know
Create a balance in your life; make sure there is an equal amount of time spent with yourself and others
Start the day off strong; prayer, mantras, meditations, journaling, reading, affirmations, exercising, etc.
Speak up for yourself; Say what’s on your mind. You have the right to have a voice
Set goals and work hard to achieve them (but don’t be too hard on yourself)
Stay Active and Hydrated- Health is Wealth!
Start and end your day with a routine
Create new memories and document them all
Budget-Yes we are rich with God’s blessings and all but use wisdom
Challenge those negative thoughts
Practice processing things and moving forward- Holding in is too much of a burden
Believe in yourself - If you don't, who will?
Take care of your mental health
REST!
Be Present in the moment
Say No-No is a complete sentence!
Adopt an attitude of gratitude
Be kind, give back, say thank you more, and give people their flowers
Invest in yourself first then others
Be Intentional in all that you do
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I PRAY 2022 IS A WONDERFUL YEAR FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES!
